Ricky was employed for 18 years as a material handler and metal finisher at United Industries in Beloit, Wisconsin. Ricky married the former Vickie Jean Gardiner on Augin Beloit, Wisconsin. For this special talent, Rickey will be remembered by all who knew him and were touched by his life. Rickey was a special person who helped many get themselves back onto the road to recovery. He was able to show them compassion and understanding that Christ filled his heart with, but he was also able to display a needed firmness to help them become better individuals and to show them Christ’s love through his own salvation. Rickey possessed a special love and talent for caring for people who were down on their luck. As the director at the Mission, it was his responsibility to help the men who came to the mission seeking help.
Rickey loved to go fishing and was dedicated to his family, especially his grandchildren. Rickey was a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church and served his country with honor in the United States Army Reserves.
